Poppy Kuroki was born in Scotland and grew up in England. She lived in Japan for most of her 20s and has since moved to a beautiful city in Yorkshire, where she lives with her family.

When she's not reading, she's playing video games, baking, doing a jigsaw, curled up reading with scented candles or annoying everyone in the house with her singing. Her debut GATE TO KAGOSHIMA was published in 2024.
